Cymbomute Pro360º finally on sale!

Yesterday was a day I'd been waiting for for around 8 months! I pushed the "big green button" and went live with Cymbomute Pro360º. Check it out - it has a silicone bumper to accept stick impact. The idea was based on customer feedback, and that I'm constantly seeking ways to improve cymbomute (Kaizen). Some customers (who are much more heavy handed than I) were playing through their mutes more quickly than anticipated. Some of this may be attributable to too much aggrression, or incorrect technique, however - this does not mean I ignore the feedback - far from it....

It's such a common "solution" to drum practice - buy an electric kit. This way you can plug headphones in, stay up when the kids are in bed, and work on getting ready for the next rehearsal or performance, right? Wrong! Ever noticed how this method of practice does not actually prepare you in any meaningful way for what is to come - when you get back to your REAL drums and cymbals, they feel so radically different to play than the e-kit - your preparation lets you down, and you still feel rusty despite the hours of 'practice' you've put in....

All the leaves are brown and the sky is grey... Well, after a few teething problems - the updated Cymbomute.com is done! This is the fourth or fifth (not sure!) incarnation of the website. The maxim we are sticking to? - KEEP IT SIMPLE! We hope you like the new layout, design and information on the site. October 16 update

As business moves forwards and things change, websites must reflect that change. So, during September I set about doing a cymbomute.com update. I did not want to add more content, nor change any wording (we are in 5 languages after all!) - but I did want to make the site more mobile friendly, better organised, easy to navigate, and simpler! So now we have a simple website layout with a sidebar navigation that allows people to move around the site more easily.
